Tom Cuddy, Exercise Physiologist
As a Massachusetts native, Tom received his undergraduate degree from the University Vermont with a degree in Exercise and Movement Science in 2015. His passion for skiing, mountain biking, and trail running led him to move west and pursue a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology at Western State Colorado University in Gunnison.
While in graduate school, Tom focused on high-altitude physiology and its implications on health, disease, and human performance. During this time, he refined his laboratory skills by working on various research projects and by running performance testing on local athletes. By striving for scientific stands based on the philosophy of ‘evidence-based practice,’ Tom’s clients and athletes are provided with training regimens and testing protocols that are optimized to fit the specific needs of the individual. His specific interests as an Exercise Physiologist include endurance training, environmental physiology, sports nutrition, and biomechanical efficiency.
When he’s not in the lab, you can find Tom mountain biking, skiing, and trail running the best trails that Montana has to offer.
